A Decade Under The Influence

This is a drawing of my band, when I was in Argentina; I was 16 years old. This art piece is very personal. It’s called a ‘Decade Under the Influence’, because through out all these year’s music has influenced my life, in the arts, in my way of thinking, everything up to my personality. Given the image of what music is in my life, the art piece is just us, because when we performed at a concert nothing else existed, just us, the instruments and the sound. The orange is the lighting that influenced all of us. The words are the song the made us one. In this art piece I wanted to represent the idea of movement of each of us, how the music grew in our body and manifested in physical expression. I love this piece because it represents my influence.
